Successfully running an organisation like Project Hope requires a lot of planning ahead. We have to book camp sites a year in advance and work out budgets for our events in order to approach businesses. So, like most of you reading this we were ready for 2020. Our calendars were colour coded and synchronised … and then 2020 happened!
Project Hope Night Market
Relax, meet up with friends and indulge in a little bargain shopping, coffee and cake! On 6 April, from 6pm to 10pm in Hall 1 & 3 at Word of Faith Christian Centre.
Donate your previously loved and gently worn items to the Night Market on Sundays before or after the services or during the week at reception. We’re in need of clothes, shoes, furniture, appliances, jewellery and more.
All proceeds from the evening will go towards non-profit organisation, Project Hope. We look forward to shopping with you!
The theme for our girls’ camp is ‘I am a Princess’. This camp is led by Madge Blignaut, the Project Manager of Project Hope. Madge has the vision to see our young girls reach their full potential, and together with a group of volunteers, she works to empower and uplift them. Unfortunately, our girls grow up in poverty-stricken areas and are raised in broken homes where they lack positive affirmation. Madge and our volunteers spend quality time with them, where they teach the girls to love and value themselves.
We believe that our camps are one of the vehicles through which we are able to fulfil the mission of Project Hope: train up children to positively influence their families and bring change to their communities.
